JONATHAN C. GOLDWEITZ,
MD (Internal Medicine)
Dr. Goldweitz joined the Stamford clinical staff in March 2003.
A graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he
completed his residency training at Bellevue Hospital/New York University
Medical Center and was subsequently board certified in Internal
Medicine. Prior to joining Executive Health Exams, Dr. Goldweitz
served as Medical Director of GE Capital, as a founding partner
of Primecare Medical, LLP, and as a primary care physician with
Southern Connecticut Community Health Plan. He holds an academic
appointment as Instructor in Clinical Medicine with Columbia University
College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has also served as President
of the Stamford Medical Society and as a member of the Board of
Directors of Physicians' Health Services.

MICHAEL E. DOYLE, M.D. (Family Practice)
Dr. Doyle joined the Stamford clinical staff in 2003. A graduate
of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Doyle completed
his residency at the University of Rochester and is board-certified
in Family Practice. In addition to private practice, he has emergency
room and urgent care experience and served as Medical Director at
St. Vincents Immediate Health Care in Bridgeport, CT. Dr. Doyles
specific practice interests include nutrition and alternative medicine.
He is conversant in Spanish.

Laurie A. Gordon, MD (Internal Medicine)
Dr. Gordon joined the Connecticut staff of EHE during the Summer of 2004. She is a graduate of Weil-Cornell University Medical College and completed her residency at the New York Infirmary-Beekman Downtown Hospital in New York. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and had experience in emergency medicine, preventive medicine, and primary care prior to joining EHE.

KAREN M. STONE, MD (Internal Medicine)
Dr. Stone joined the Connecticut staff of EHE in the Summer of 2004. She is a graduate of St. Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Stamford Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident in 2002-2003. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

FRANK A. DENBOW, MD
(Internal Medicine)
Dr. Frank Denbow joined EHE in 1999. A medical graduate of Queens
University in Northern Ireland, he served as physician-in-charge
at Georgetown Public Hospital in Guyana and Senior Lecturer at the
University of Guyana, Faculty of Health Sciences before moving to
the United States and completing an additional residency in Internal
Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

RAJENDRA R. DESAI, MD
(Cardiology)
Dr. Desai is a graduate of Grant Medical College in Bombay, India.
His residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology
were completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New
Jersey. He completed an additional fellowship in Non-Invasive and
Nuclear Cardiology at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center at Trenton
Road, New Jersey, and maintains a private practice in Milburn, New
Jersey.
Dr. Desai's special practice interest is exercise stress cardiography,
and he has authored several articles related to cardiology.

BAIG , MD (Internal Medicine)
Dr. Baig joined the Morristown Clinic Staff in 2004, having recently
completed her residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and
acquired her board certification in Internal Medicine. She is a
graduate of Dow Medical College, Karachi University, in Pakistan,
and was the recipient of the American College of Chest Physicians'
Young Investigator Award for her clinical research in Pulmonary
Medicine and Critical Care at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

MUHAMMAD Z. IQBAL, MD
(Cardiology)
Dr. Iqbal joined EHE in 1996. A graduate of King Edward Medical
College in Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Iqbal completed his residency in
Internal Medicine at New York Beekman Downtown Hospital and his
fellowship in Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology at Rush-Presbyterian
Medical Center in Chicago. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine,
Cardiovascular Disease, and Geriatrics.
Dr. Iqbal's special practice interest is cardiology. He is fluent
in Hindi.

KENNETH M. STEINHOUSE, MD
(Cardiology)
Dr. Steinhouse joined the New Jersey staff as a cardiologist in the Spring of 2004. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the New York University Bellevue Medical Center. He subsequently completed his fellowship in Cardiology as a U.S. Public Health Service Fellow at New York University and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
In addition to over 30 years' clinical practice in his specialties, Dr. Steinhouse served as President of the Medical and Dental Staff and Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, New Jersey prior to joining EHE.

MARTHA E. AIELLO, MD
(Internal Medicine)
Dr. Aiello joined EHE in 2000 after experience with medical groups
in Westchester and Northern New Jersey. She is an Honors graduate
of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and trained
in Internal Medicine at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Aiello is fluent in Spanish and French.

GABRIELLA TROTTA-BARNI,
MD (Internal Medicine)
Dr. Trotta-Barni has served as an examining physician with EHE since
1994. An Honors medical graduate of the University of Siena in Siena,
Italy, Dr. Trotta-Barni completed her medical residency at the Robert
Packer Hospital/Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pennsylvania. She served
as a staff physician at the William F. Ryan Community Health Center
in New York City.
Dr. Trotta-Barni is fluent in Italian.

CLINTON G. WEIMAN, MD
(Internal Medicine)
Dr. Weiman has served as an examining physician in EHE's Metropolitan
New York area clinics since 1994. Prior to his EHE service, he had
thirty years' experience as Corporate Medical Director and Senior
Vice President of Citicorp. Dr. Weiman currently serves in an advisory
capacity to EHE's senior management. A graduate of Cornell Medical
College, Dr. Weiman retains his academic affiliation there as Associate
Professor of Clinical Medicine.
Dr. Weiman is the developer of an on-line computerized medical information
system and founder of Comprehensive Medical Interview.

DONNA M. TORRE, MD
(Internal Medicine)
Dr.Torre graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed
her residency in Internal Medicine at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut,
and served for over a decade as attending physician at Northern
Westchester Cardiac rehabilitation, where she was responsible for
supervision of patients during rehabilitative exercise.
Dr.Torre joined EHE in 2001 and manages stress testing in both New
York and Connecticut offices.

PARUL J. KAKARIA, MD
(Internal Medicine)
Dr. Kakaria joined the New York clinical staff in August of 2004. A graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington D.D., she completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology at George Washington University Hospital, with a preceptorship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Dr. Kakaria is fluent in Hindi, and her special interests include osteoporosis and diabetes.

HERBERT A. INSEL, MD
(Cardiology)
Dr. Insel has served as a Cardiologist at EHE for over ten years.
He holds a medical degree from The State University of New York,
Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Insel completed his residency in Internal
Medicine at Brookdale Hospital Center and his fellowship in Cardiology
at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where he maintains practice
privileges. Dr. Insel also maintains a clinical teaching appointment
at New York University Medical Center where he is a Clinical Instructor
in Medicine.
Dr. Insel's special professional interest is Preventive Cardiology,
a field in which he frequently lectures to professional groups,
medical facilities, and corporations.

WILMER JOSEPH PETITE,
MD (Cardiology)
Dr. Petite has served as a Cardiologist at EHE for six years. An
Honors graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, he completed
his residency in Internal Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital, and his
fellowship in Cardiology at Harlem Hospital Center and Tulane University.
He has served as Director of Cardiology at St. Mary's Hospital in
Brooklyn and as Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University.

ROBERT M. MELTZER, MD
(Gastroenterology)
Dr. Meltzer joined EHE as a board certified Gastroenterologist in
1985. A graduate of Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Meltzer completed
both his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Gastroenterology
at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York where he maintains admitting
and teaching appointments.
Dr. Meltzer has done clinical research in inflammatory bowel disease
and has presented and published in his specialty of Gastroenterology.

DEBORAH SHERMAN, MD
(Gastroenterology)
Dr. Sherman, a graduate of New York Medical College, completed her
residency in Internal Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in New York
and her fellowship in Gastroenterology at St.Luke's Hospital in
New York.
She has been in a private gastroenterology practice in New Jersey
and has served as Senior Gastroenterologist at Manhattan MEdical
Group, Director of Outpatient Gastroenterology Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
Training Program at Beth Israel Hospital in New York, Medical Director
for Home Box Office Health Center, and Attending Physician at two
New York Hospitals. Dr.Sherman joined EHE in 2002 as a staff physician
in the expanded colonoscopy program.

RICHARD H. HAMILTON, MD
(Radiology)
Dr. Hamilton has worked with EHE for over 20 year, serving as Chief
Radiologist since 1992. A graduate of New York Medical College,
Dr. Hamilton served his Radiology residency at New York Post Graduate
Hospital, is certified in both Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology,
and is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and
a member of the Board of Governors of the Academy of Industrial
Medicine. He was Assistant Attending in Radiology at Bridgeport
General Hospital early in his career, and has subsequently maintained
a private practice in New York City and served in a variety of clinical
consultative positions for corporate health initiatives. He maintains
an academic appointment at New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Hamilton's special practice interest is breast cancer detection
and chest disease.

ROBERT ASCHEIM, MD
Robert Ascheim, MD is a board-certified internist with a specialty of cardiology.
He is an Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and an Associate
Professor of Medicine at Cornell Medical School. He is also the Chief Executive
Officer of Physician Partners Company, a healthcare consulting firm that he established
in 1998. He has had a private practice of internal medicine and cardiology in New York
City for over 30 years.

ALLAN K. PHUAH, MD
(Internal Medicine)
Dr. Phuah joined EHE in 2000. He is a medical graduate of the University
of Texas, Galveston, where he also completed his residency in Internal
Medicine. Prior to joining EHE, he served as attending physician
at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston and as a primary care
provider for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in The Woodlands, Texas.
Dr. Phuah is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese and Fujian)
and Malay.

NAUEEN S. SAFDAR, MD
(Internal Medicine)
Dr. Safdar is a medical graduate of Fatima Jinnah Medical College
in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine
and Surgery in Pakistan prior to coming to the United States. In
the United States she served as a researcher in gene therapy at
the University of Wisconsin, completed a one-year research fellowship
at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and completed a three-year
residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical
School in Houston. Her post-graduate clinical experience prior to
joining EHE includes several years in primary care and urgent care
in the Houston Area.
Dr. Safdar is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi.

M. TAREK AL-ASSI, M.D., MPH (Gastroenterology)
Dr. Al-Assi joined the Houston clinical staff in 2003 as a board
certified gastroenterologist. A graduate of Damascus University
Medical School in Damascus, Syria, Dr. Al-Assi completed his residency
in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and his
fellowship in Gastroenterology at St. Louis University. He completed
additional fellowships in clinical research at Baylor College of
Medicine in Houston and in Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound at
Indiana University School of Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor
of Medicine and Director of the Endoscopic Ultrasound Unit at Baylor
College of Medicine and the author of numerous scientific articles
in his field.
Dr. Al-Assi is fluent in Arabic.

LEROY ODOM, M.D.
(Gastroenterology)
Dr. Odom joined the gastroenterology staff of the Houston Clinic
in 2003. A graduate of State University of New York Downstate, he
completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University
Hospitals and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor College
of Medicine. Dr. Odom is a member of an active practice in Internal
Medicine and Digestive Diseases and holds privileges at many hospitals
in the Houston area. Dr. Odom's special practice interest is liver
disease.
